Follow-Up Resources for Online Learning

Moodle.org is an excellent site for almost any information for user documentation for general information, teachers, and students using the Moodle. Many how-to's for creating courses, managing them, good practices are found here.
Do you have any other sources for good training and instruction? What will you need to get out there and start Moodling?

Moodle for Staff Developent.

I am hoping to start a Moodle class for our teaching staff. I would like to use it to teach them about all of the Web 2.0 tools out there. Any suggestions about how to get started?

Here is our staff development website of resources. SidneyMIT Wiki

The Demand for Virtual Learning

Please read the following and respond:

"The demand for virtual schools is driven at least in part by fundamental changes in our society and the students who inhabit it. As ubiquitous communications and immediate access to information have become more common, learners recognize that learning can be an anytime-anywhere experience … A new kind of student requires a new kind of schooling."
